Liverpool striker Roberto Firmino picked up a problem with his right foot in training yesterday, the Liverpool Echo report.
Firmino was tended to by a physio at Kirkby, after the Liverpool striker felt an issue.
Although the Echo does state that Firmino didn’t look in extreme pain, so the problem is unlikely to be serious, they do expect him to sit out of tonight’s game.
Liverpool are set to take on Midtjylland in the Champions League, but the game is effectively a dead-rubber for Jurgen Klopp’s side.
Liverpool have already secured their progress to the next round of the competition, after their win over Ajax last week.

Klopp is now expected to name a much changed line-up, as he has an opportunity to rest players.
The Liverpool boss has actually said that most his senior players will travel.
But with Firmino picking up a knock in training he is highly unlikely to be risked, as Liverpool can ill afford any more serious injury problems.
