Kevin Nolan is reportedly training with West Ham United for fitness.
According to Sky Sports, free agent midfielder Kevin Nolan has returned to training with West Ham United, as manager Slaven Bilic has allowed him to link up for fitness reasons.
Nolan, 34, spent last season with Leyton Orient having been released by Bilic in August 2015, and after a stint as player/manager, he left Orient over the summer.

The former Bolton and Newcastle star has been without a club ever since, but he appears to be stepping up his efforts to land a deal elsewhere.
Sky Sports report that Nolan has been given permission by Bilic to begin training with West Ham again in a bid to improve his fitness levels, having spent more than five years with the club.

The attacking midfielder was a regular under Sam Allardyce at West Ham, notching 31 goals in 152 games for the club before playing just five times under Bilic and eventually leaving the club.
A former West Ham captain, Nolan gave great service to West Ham before age seemed to get the better of him, and supporters began to get frustrated with his performances during the 2014/15 season.

Whilst West Ham are struggling right now, it doesn’t seem that Nolan will be seen as a solution to any of their problems. Sky Sports claim that there are no plans to offer Nolan a contract, and his return to the club is purely for training only.
That means that there are two ex-Hammers training with the club, as former striker Carlton Cole also returned to the club for fitness recently, with Bilic opening the door to some of the club’s former players as a gesture.
