Kevin Doyle is reportedly facing a difficult few months at Wolverhampton Wanderers.
The Herald has suggested that Wolves striker Kevin Doyle is facing an uncertain future at the club.
The paper has confirmed that there was no formal offer for Doyle on deadline day yesterday, which could leave him out in the cold at Kenny Jackett’s club.
The Herald’s report suggests that Jackett has made it clear the striker doesn’t feature in his plans meaning he could face a difficult few months unless the boss gives him a chance in his first team.
That could still happen if injuries and suspensions mount up or if the boss feels he just needs to fresh things up at the top of his team.
He could also move in the emergency loan window, which would probably be more preferable from the player’s point of view because it represents a chance for him to play frequently over the rest of the season.
If he feels he doesn’t have a future at Wolves, he needs to find a way to put himself in the shop window for the summer because if he has a spell like he’s just had at Crystal Palace (three sub appearances and no goals) it’s been proven he could find it difficult to attract a club.
