Wolverhampton Wanderers had been tipped to make a move for the Nigeria international this summer.
According to a report from Own Goal Nigeria, Chelsea defender Kenneth Omeruo has rejected the chance to sign for Wolverhampton Wanderers this summer despite the Championship side having a £3million accepted.
Wolves have been busy bringing in a number of new faces during the close season and they had seemingly targeted Omeruo as their latest addition.

However, Own Goal Nigeria claims the player – who was due to have his medical at Molineux today – has now turned his back on a move after interest from two top flight Turkish clubs.
After spending the last two seasons on loan in Turkey, it is being reported the 23-year-old wants to remain there permanently with a switch to either Sivasspor or Goztepe on the horizon.
It comes as a bitter blow to a Wolves side who are doing everything in their power to be a force next season and secure promotion back to the Premier League after too long away.
Omeruo has still not made his debut for Chelsea yet he impressed during a previous loan spell at Middlesbrough and Wolves would have been keen to get him through the door.
The suggested price tag shows how highly he is rated, and the fact Wolves were willing to pay it means they are leaving no stone unturned in their bid to build a squad ready for the challenges of a promotion push.
Omeruo is one of a number of Chelsea players yet to get a chance at Stamford Bridge, in his case despite making a name for himself at the 2014 World Cup with some fine individual performances.
