Reported Everton transfer target Kara Mbodji is reportedly hoping to complete a deal to join up with The Toffees this summer.
It is reported by La Capitale that Kara is hopeful of making a move from Anderlecht to the Premier League this summer and that Everton would be an ideal move for him to make.
Anderlecht’s Kara Mbodji
The Daily Mail report that the Senegalese defender has emerged as a cheap alternative to his international team-mate Kalidou Koulibaly – with Napoli telling Everton they want £40 million for the player.
It’s also reported that Mbodji can leave for a Premier League team for just £6.2m, should the offer be made before August 5th. Everton would therefore be saving plenty of cash on any deal, with new director of football Steve Walsh said to be a big fan of the imposing centre-half.

It is also reported today, by Le Quotidien among others, that Turkish side Besiktas are also keen on signing Mbodji – so Everton may have some competition if they do decide to make a move for the player.
Everton were weak at the back last season and Ronald Koeman has put strengthening his back-line top of his priority list.
