Juventus are reportedly interested in Sassuolo attacker Giacomo Raspadori, a player Newcastle United have already made an offer to sign this summer.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, the Serie A giants have turned their attention to the 22-year-old forward as Juventus look to add another striker to their ranks this summer, with Raspadori now back on the agenda with Napoli also keen on signing the Italian international.

Sassuolo have already lost one key player this summer in Gianluca Scamacca, who joined West Ham in a reported £35m deal, and the Italian side could now lose another top talent in Raspadori, who is reportedly valued at just €30m (£25m) as per Gazzetta dello Sport.

Raspadori has already been subject to interest from England, and Newcastle have even reportedly had a £21m offer rejected by Sassuolo for the youngster, with Juventus and Napoli now seemingly the favourites to sign the 13-cap Italian international this summer.

An exciting talent who has been likened to Manchester City legend Sergio Aguero, losing Raspadori this window could be a killer blow for Sassuolo following the sale of Scammaca even if they earn £60m for two players who cost the club nothing, especially to a rival club like Juventus.

Indeed, the Bianconeri have already signed one Serie A superstar this summer in Gleison Bremer, and if Juventus also manage to bring Raspadori into the fold, the Italian giants could have an excellent chance at bringing the Scudetto back to Turin after two years in Milan.

Juventus can send message to Newcastle by signing Raspadori

Newcastle’s business this summer has been quite surprising given how little the Magpies have done based on how much wealth the Premier League side now sit on with their new Saudi owners, and Juventus signing Raspadori could send a message to Eddie Howe that they still have some way to go before becoming one of the top clubs in Europe.

After all, Newcastle will eventually one day become a top side following the same route Chelsea, Manchester City and PSG have followed, and whilst it will take time, Juventus beating the Toon to Raspadori will show that the Serie A giants can out-muscle a sleeping super club for the time being.
