Italian outlet CMW claim Juventus are willing to sell Manuel Locatelli for a fee of just £30million in order to bring in Jorginho on a free transfer from Chelsea – with Chelsea or Arsenal cited as possible destinations for Locatelli.
Locatelli, 24, joined Juventus on a two-year loan deal from Sassuolo in 2021. It comes after his wonderful displays for Italy at Euro 2020. But he has since struggled for the Old Lady, despite playing 56 times in all competitions.
So, Juventus are willing to offload the Italy star – but of course, they will have to make his loan deal permanent before doing so. That is because Juventus want to make room for an Italy teammate of Locatelli’s, in Jorginho.
The more-experienced Chelsea ace is out of contract at the end of the season. It looks unlikely he will extend his current £110,000-a-week deal. Juventus are interested, but need to sell first. Locatelli is the one in the firing line.
Indeed, the report claims they are willing to part with Locatelli – for a fee of £30million. CMW also say that both Arsenal and Chelsea are open to signing Locatelli and bringing him to England. Locatelli could replace Jorginho.

Juventus willing to sell Locatelli to bring in Jorginho from Chelsea
What a signing Jorginho would be for Juventus. Max Allegri’s side are really struggling and while they remain an illustrious club, steeped in tradition and history, they are going through a transitional period at the moment.
So, they need a spark from somewhere and bringing in one of the best midfielders in European football would go some way. He would be a vast improvement on Locatelli. Meanwhile, Locatelli needs a change of scenery.
A move to England would suit the box-to-box midfielder more so, than the slightly slower Serie A. For £30million, both clubs would be signing a player much younger than Jorginho. He has the potential to improve further.
