Touluse defender Todibo was linked with Wolves earlier this month.

Italian outlet CalcioMercato have claimed that Italian champions Juventus have tabled an offer for Toulouse defender Jean-Clair Tobido – just days after Wolves were linked with the teenage centre-back.
The 18-year-old has broken into Toulouse’s side this season and has made 10 appearances for the Ligue 1 outfit, even scoring once against Stade Rennais in a 1-1 draw.
French outlet La Depeche claimed earlier this week that both Wolves and Liverpool were interested in the centre-back, who boasts a powerful frame at 6ft 2in.
However, it seems as though that Juventus have stolen a march on the Premier League duo, by submitting an offer to the player’s entourage six weeks before the opening of the January transfer window.
Todibo’s future at Toulouse remains in doubt as he is yet to sign a professional contract with the club, meaning a transfer fee is likely to be small though a compensation fee may have to be paid.

The player’s agents are using the remaining time between now and the January window to mull things over before making a decision, giving Wolves and Liverpool time to rival Juve – as well as Toulouse.
But Juve have certainly placed themselves in pole position and with the stature of the Italian champions surely hard to resist, it may see Wolves miss out on one of France’s hottest new talents.
