This week it has been reported that Aston Villa have offered Juventus the chance to sign French midfielder Jordan Veretout – and that the Italian giants are considering the deal.
Calcio Mercato are reporting that Juventus have been offered the Frenchman, who failed to have a telling impact at Villa Park, with the Bianconeri considering him as an alternative to fellow target Steven N’Zonzi.
The French midfielder arrived at Villa in a deal said to be worth around £8 million by the Daily Mail last summer.

But he struggled to have a major impact at Villa, as the club were relegated to the Championship as the Premier League’s bottom club.
He has been in good form since departing Villa for Saint-Etienne on loan but it now looks as though Juventus may hijack any hopes of a permanent move from Les Verts.
Aston Villa would undoubtedly be keen to sell the player and Tony Xia even confirmed as much in a tweet yesterday:
The Birmingham Mail also report that any move will not happen in January, as his loan deal at Saint-Etienne is unbreakable until the summer.
