Everton’s asking price for the Belgian is reportedly holding up a move.
Juventus are interested in a move for Everton striker Romelu Lukaku this summer as a replacement for Alvaro Morata, reports Gazzettaworld.com.
Morata is expected to head back to Real Madrid this summer, who have an option to take him back to the Bernabeu for €30 million (£23.5m), as reported by Gazzettaworld.com.
It has been reported that Madrid are keen to activate that clause and then sell him on for a quick and easy profit.
Should that happen Juventus will need to replace him, and the Italian giants have already drawn up a shortlist of potential transfer targets, according to Gazzettaworld.com.
Everton striker Lukaku is on that list, with the Belgian keen to leave the Blues this summer and move to a club that is competing in the Champions League.
Indeed, as far as Gazzettaworld.com is concerned, the Serie A champions have made the Belgian a priority signing for this summer transfer window.
The Toffees are not keen to sell their star man, though, and have slapped a big price tag on his head, with The Daily Mail claiming that it could be as much as £60 milllion.
That valuation is too high for the Italian giants at present. Instead they may turn their attention towards fellow Belgians Christian Benteke and Michy Batshuayi, who would both be available for far less than Lukaku, according to Gazzettaworld.com.
