Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Mousa Dembele has reportedly been the topic of discussion in talks between Spurs and Juventus.

Dembele’s future looks like it could be one of the key narratives at Spurs this summer, with the London Evening Standard reporting that he could be sold before he enters the final year of his contract having suggested that he is unlikely to agree fresh terms with the Premier League side.

And it appears that he could perhaps be on his way to Turin, with Sky Sport in Italy reporting that Juve have already made contact with Spurs over a potential move for the Belgian maestro.
Sky Sport adds that Juventus have enquired about the figures that may be involved in a deal for the 31-year-old, who has arguably been one of the most impressive midfielders in the Premier League for a number of years.
Losing Dembele would be a big blow for Mauricio Pochettino’s men this summer, but if anything comes of the links with Juventus, it may not be the worst place for the midfielder to head this summer.

Of course, he could still hurt Tottenham in the Champions League, but a move to Juventus Stadium would ensure that Dembele’s departure does not hurt Pochettino’s men as much as it would if he joined a domestic rival.
And with Juventus perhaps setting the wheels in motion over a potential deal, Spurs may ultimately appreciate the possibility of ending speculation over Dembele’s future before it becomes a window-long saga.
