Liverpool are yet to tie up a new deal for Emre Can and Juventus are hoping to use that to their advantage.
Emre Can is now in the final 12 months of his current contract with Liverpool and speculation is increasing that the 23-year-old could be lured away from Anfield.
Italian publication, La Gazetta dello Sport, reports that Juventus are hoping to capitalise on the lack of certainty over Can’s future on Merseyside to swoop for the Germany international.

This is despite the fact that last month the Express claimed that the Reds were prepared to almost double the midfielder’s current wages of £55,000-a-week to around £100,000-a-week.
It was also said that the new deal would keep Can at the Premier League club until 2021, but with that being published almost two weeks ago, there is still no sign of pen being put to paper.
The German moved to Liverpool from Bayer Leverkusen in the summer of 2014 and has since made 129 appearances in all competitions.
Last season Can played a key role for manager Jurgen Klopp and even chipped in with five league strikes as his team finished fourth in the table – including the goal of the season winner in a 1-0 victory at Watford.
