Italian website Juve Dipendenza claim Juventus are interested in raiding Liverpool for Konstantinos Tsimikas – and are ready to table an offer worth £11m to sign the Greece international. He could replace Luca Pellegrini.

Tsimikas, 25, has been excellent in what is his second season at Anfield since joining the club from Olympiacos. Last term, he was only afforded seven appearances but this time – he already has three times that, with 21.

The left-back remains second-choice to Andy Robertson but he continues to show happiness and utter delight at being a Liverpool player. However, a move to a big club where he is first choice could tempt Tsimikas in summer.

The latest report claims Pellegrini is set to leave Juventus in the coming weeks and months and in his place, Juventus want Tsimikas. They are willing to pay £11million for a player Klopp once said is “spectacular”.

Tsimikas eyed by Juventus: Liverpool star should be tempted

A move to join Juventus and be the Old Lady’s first-choice left-back is surely a move Tsimikas cannot turn down. His future is already in doubt given he is playing back-up to Robertson and at 25 – he might want to go.

He could only have dreamt of a club like Juventus looking to sign him this summer. What might scupper a deal is that Juve are only willing to pay £11million for him. Surely, after this season, Liverpool will want more.

Indeed, Tsimikas has laid on six assists for his teammates in his 21 outings. Even as Robertson’s back-up, Liverpool should be requesting at least a fee of £15million for the defender. His current deal ends in the summer of 2025.
