According to the Italian press, Juventus are set to open discussions with the agent of Manchester City owned defender Micah Richards.
Micah Richards may not be headed back to Manchester City after his loan spell at Fiorentina ends if Juventus have their way.
Manchester City’s longest serving player left the club for a season in Serie A with Fiorentina and already seems to have caught the eye of Italian champions Juventus.
It is suggested that Fiorentina aren’t clear whether they will try and keep Richards on a permanent basis, so Juventus are preparing in case they choose to let him return to Manchester City without tabling a bid.
Representatives of Richards will apparently be in Turin to talk to Juventus directors in the coming weeks and a possible deal could take shape quickly.
Richards is currently struggling with injury problems and played no part as Fiorentina battled to grab a 1-1 draw with AC Milan last weekend.
