Ricardo Pereira was one of Leicester’s best players last season but could the Foxes lose him after just one season?

Premier League champions Manchester City have been heavily linked with a move for Cancelo and the report states that Juventus’ Sporting Director Fabio Paratici was in London yesterday to accelerate the sale of the Portuguese full-back.
The Old Lady will need a replacement for Cancelo ahead of next season under new manager Maurizio Sarri and Ricardo Pereira, along with Nelson Semedo and Kieran Trippier, are reportedly on their shortlist.
Pereira only joined Leicester City last summer from Porto and has since been an integral part of the Foxes’ side. The Portuguese international missed just three games in the Premier League last season and was directly involved in nine goals.

That is a fantastic return for a player in his first season in the Premier League and Juventus’ interest in Pereira does not come in as a surprise considering how good he is. Pereira is still only 25 which is the perfect age for him to take a big step in his career and Juventus would be the ideal destination for him to achieve his ambitions.
However, Leicester will suffer a massive blow if they lose their star full-back especially after how well he has adjusted to life under Brendan Rodgers. Pereira still has four years left on his current deal at the King Power and that should be enough leverage for the Foxes to fend off any interest from Juventus in the coming weeks.
