Aston Villa’s goalkeeping search has proved elusive so far.

Aston Villa would like to buy the Juventus goalkeeper, Mattia Perin, according to Gianluca Di Marzio.
The prominent Italian journalist claims that the Juventus sporting director, Fabio Paratici, is already in England ‘to discuss the possible operation’.
Despite having made nine new signings since they gained promotion back to the Premier League in May, Perin’s position is one which continues to elude Aston Villa.
Dean Smith’s side have been credited with an interest in a number of potential options, as they seek to improve on their existing options.
But moves for alleged targets such as Jack Butland, Neil Etheridge and Tom Heaton, have failed to materialise for various reasons.

Aston Villa could, however, have more luck with Perin, who is back to third-choice after Juve re-signed Gianluigi Buffon.
The twice-capped Italy international made his name at Genoa before joining the Serie A champions a year ago.
Would Perin be a good addition for Aston Villa?
