According to Goal, Liverpool have been offered the chance to sign Ozan Kabak for just £8.5m, amid interest from Crystal Palace and Tottenham.
What’s the story?
Well, Liverpool signed the 21-year-old on loan from Schalke 04 back in January, where they agreed an option to buy for £18m.
Despite Kabak helping Liverpool finish third, Jürgen Klopp decided not to activate that option, and instead signed Ibrahima Konate.
Now, with Schalke 04 desperate for cash, they have offered the 12-cap Turkey international to the Reds for a significantly reduced price.
However, Liverpool’s stance is clear.
Goal are claiming that Liverpool have rejected Schalke 04’s offer, and their feelings are unlikely to change before the transfer window ends.
Who might Schalke 04’s offer interest?

Well, two other Premier League sides are interested in Kabak, and could potentially take Schalke 04 up on their offer, in our view.
Tutto Mercato Web believe Tottenham are interested in the youngster, as Nuno Espírito Santo looks to add some new centre-backs to his squad.
Elsewhere, Crystal Palace are also said to be keen to sign Kabak, as Patrick Vieira looks to freshen up an ageing squad.
In our view, it’s a complete no brainer to sign the Turk for such a low fee.

Kabak impressed during his six months in the Premier League, and also held his own in the Champions League against Real Madrid.
For just £8.5m, it’s very possible that Kabak trebles that sum if he continues to impress in the Premier League.
In this day and age, some of the transfer fees going around are crazy.
So, when offered a full, 21-year-old senior international, with great experience at the highest level for just £8.5m, you’d be foolish to turn it down.
