The two managers met after Liverpool beat Wigan Athletic over the weekend.

According to the Daily Mail, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp discussed potential transfer deals with Wigan Athletic manager Gary Caldwell after their recent friendly clash.
The two sides met on Saturday afternoon, with the Reds running out 2-0 winners courtesy of goals from Danny Ings and Ben Woodburn.

It was the Reds’ third win of pre-season as they build up their fitness ahead of their first full campaign under Klopp.
However, it transpires that their manager used the game for more than a fitness-building regime.
According to the Daily Mail, he met with Wigan manager Gary Caldwell afterwards to discuss potential transfer dealings between the two clubs.
Chief among their thoughts was goalkeeper Adam Bogdan, who is set to have a medical with the Championship side today ahead of a season-long loan deal.

He may not be the only one making the switch though given the two managers’ discussions following the game.
There are several Liverpool youngsters who would benefit from loan spells, and it seems Caldwell is keen to try to make use of the positive relationship he appears to have with the Reds boss.
