Liverpool are confident of signing Ryan Sessegnon from Fulham in the summer transfer window, according to The Sun.

It has been reported that Liverpool’s Premier League rivals, Everton and Tottenham Hotspur, are also interested in the 16-year-old left-back.

However, according to the report, Reds manager Jurgen Klopp is confident of landing the talented youngster in the summer.

Sessegnon is one of the best young teenage footballers in England and has been in great form for Fulham so far this season.

The England Under-19 international left-back has scored four goals and created 11 chances in 17 Championship appearances for the Cottagers so far this season.

Everton and Tottenham do have a good track record of giving chances to young players, and Sessegnon would be wise to explore those options.

Liverpool boss Klopp is a brilliant manager, and so are Everton’s Ronald Koeman and Tottenham’s Mauricio Pochettino.

Fulham are seventh in the Championship table at the moment with 60 points from 36 matches.

The Cottagers are just two points behind sixth-placed Sheffield Wednesday and have a game in hand.
