Cross Julian Draxler’s name off the Arsenal list yet again.
The Germany playmaker has been linked with the Gunners in every transfer window for what feels like going on a decade now.
This summer was going to be no different. Fussball Transfers reported in April that Draxler was on Arsenal’s wish list as they sought a new playmaker.
In many ways, a move did finally make sense. The 27-year-old was set to become a free agent this summer, with his PSG contract winding down.
Keeping Martin Odegaard at Arsenal won’t be easy, as the Norwegian’s loan from Real Madrid comes to an end this summer with no guarantee that he’ll be back next term.
Signing Draxler for free would have filled that spot, but L’Equipe report that he is now going to sign a new three-year deal at PSG.
It was long expected that he would leave, but after changing his demands – from a two-year deal to a three-year deal – Draxler has reached an agreement to stay.

The World Cup and three-time Ligue 1 title winner will now stay in Paris instead of heading to Arsenal, meaning Edu and co must go back to the drawing board.
The priority will of course be Odegaard, but this one alternative signing off the list for Arsenal before the transfer window has even opened.
With just four assists this season and limited resale value, maybe missing out on Draxler isn’t all that bad.
