Ibrox hero Josh Windass has reportedly signed a new deal at Rangers.

The Glasgow Evening Times have reported that Rangers attacker Josh Windass has put pen to paper on a new-long contract at Ibrox just days after James Tavernier was handed a new deal.
Windass, 24, is said to have signed the same length of contract as teammate Tavernier too, committing him to Ibrox until the summer of 2021 with his previous deal set to expire a year before.

The former Accrington Stanley man has been in superb for the Gers this season, scoring 12 goals and turning provider on a further eight occasions during his 30 league and cup appearances for the Light Blues.
Now, Windass is set to remain with the Gers for the foreseeable future after various reports suggested clubs from down south were interested in Rangers’ number 11.
Another Murty masterstroke?

Graeme Murty has drawn increasing praise for his work both on and off the field at Ibrox, as his January signings have all seemed to have had a good impact. Results have also picked up on the pitch, despite the Gers remaining in third.
The Daily Record claimed in January that Championship side Leeds were interested in Windass, but that will now be put to bed following Windass’ signal of intent to spend the next three and a half seasons in Glasgow.
With Windass’ becoming more and more crucial to the Rangers side, Murty has secured another masterstroke in extending Windass’ contract in a move that could be another positive next to his name for the Rangers manager job past the summer.
