According to RMC Sport, Tottenham Hotspur boss Jose Mourinho wants to sign Chelsea defender Kurt Zouma.
It’s claimed that Mourinho has put Zouma’s name forward to the Tottenham hierarchy as a signing he wants.
Talks may not have started yet, but Chelsea are understood to be open to letting him leave if they receive a good offer.
That’s where the problem may lie for Tottenham. It’s stated that Chelsea’s demands are ‘high’, and they likely won’t budge for a local rival.
Tottenham will be hit by the global pandemic, so a big-money move for the Frenchman seems almost impossible this summer.
Still, it’s no surprise that Mourinho wants Zouma again. He signed Zouma for Chelsea back in 2014, and gave him some huge praise just over a year later.

As quoted by West London Sport, Mourinho branded Zouma the ‘new Desailly’, comparing him to former Chelsea and France hero Marcel Desailly.
Zouma hasn’t yet lived up to that billing, but has still enjoyed a decent season for the Blues having been brought back into the fold following a loan spell at Everton.
Given that Frank Lampard also has Fikayo Tomori, Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen, maybe Zouma will be expendable. Still, Spurs convincing Chelsea to sell to them seems like a tough ask.
