Juventus continue to be linked with a move for Spurs target Andre Gomes.

According to Calcio Mercato, super agent Jorge Mendes is looking to send Tottenham target Andre Gomes to Juventus in the January transfer window.
Gomes, 24, emerged as a promising midfielder with Benfica before joining Valencia in 2014, where his impressive performances earned him a big-money move to Barcelona just two years later.
The Portugal international struggled in his first season with Barca though, and he has yet to convince new manager Ernesto Valverde either, having started just two games in all competitions this season.

A January move appears to be on the cards, with The Sun recently reporting that Tottenham Hotspur remain keen on Gomes having seen a last-gap deadline day bid for the midfielder fall through in August.
However, whilst Spurs may hold out hope of securing a January deal, the player’s agent – the now famous Jorge Mendes – may have other plans for Gomes’ future.
Calcio Mercato report that Mendes is pushing for a move to Juventus during the January transfer window, with the super agent allegedly aware that the Italian giants are interested in his client.

Mendes allegedly wants to set up a January loan deal for Gomes, with a deal possible given that the midfielder has been told he is just a backup at the Camp Nou, and with the World Cup around the corner, he needs playing time.
Tottenham may still have some hope of finally securing Gomes’ signature in January, but these fresh reports suggest that his agent is pushing him to Juventus instead, meaning Mauricio Pochettino may need to look at alternative midfield targets.
