Rangers midfielder Jordan Rossiter appears to be nearing an Ibrox exit.

According to The Scottish Sun, Rangers midfielder Jordan Rossiter is closing in on a move away from Ibrox – to join Joey Barton’s Fleetwood Town.
The Gers have brought in a whole host of signings this summer, and it’s now time for Steven Gerrard to trim his squad ahead of the new season.
One player primed for the exit – even with fellow holding midfielder Ross McCrorie now out on loan at Portsmouth – is Rossiter, three years since arriving from Liverpool.
Rossiter has been made available by Rangers, and Fleetwood boss Barton believes the midfielder is nearing a move to Lancashire as a result.
The 22-year-old has struggled with injury woes at Rangers, and he was sent out on loan to League Two side Bury in January in order to play first-team football.
He impressed in that spell, and now looks set for another return to England by joining League One outfit Fleetwood, bolstering Barton’s midfield.

Controversial Ibrox flop Barton actually arrived at Rangers in the same summer Rossiter did, and the Liverpudlians may now reunite at Fleetwood.
Many believed that Rossiter would really kick on once former Liverpool teammate Gerrard arrived as Rangers boss, but in truth, the opposite has happened – and Fleetwood believe Rossiter is nearing a move.
