Rangers winger Jordan Jones appears to have avoided a disastrous injury.

According to The Daily Record, Rangers winger Jordan Jones has learned that his knee injury suffered against Celtic on Sunday isn’t as bad as first feared.
The Gers were comfortably beaten by their Old Firm rivals, as Odsonne Edouard and Jonny Hayes struck to give Celtic all three points at Ibrox.
Rangers were dismal throughout, and as if the defeat wasn’t bad enough, Jones then went and earned a straight red card for a wild challenge on Moritz Bauer.
That’s a suspension for Jones anyway, but he was then seen limping off the pitch and even leaving Ibrox on crutches having injured himself making the challenge.
Fears were raised when Jones pulled out of the Northern Ireland squad, and the Record note that Jones feared he had torn his ACL, which would have ended his season.
Jones, described as ‘distraught’ at the thought of missing a huge chunk of his first season with the club, has now learned that that he hasn’t torn his ACL at all, and the minimal ligament damage means he should be back within four to six weeks.

The 24-year-old had shown some flashes of quality in the early stages of the season, but his immature red card, potential injury and the signing of Ryan Kent meant that Jones was facing a dismal time.
Now though, he should be back in October, and that’s a much better prediction than a season-ending injury – but he has plenty to prove after his ridiculous challenge and the arrival of fellow left winger Kent.
