Hugill joined West Ham United from Preston North End 18 months ago.

Jordan Hugill’s agent is trying to find a club for the West Ham United striker, but a return to Preston North End is ‘highly unlikely’, according to The Lancashire Evening Post, which cites Lilywhites sources.
Hugill left Preston to sign for West Ham in a £9.5 million deal in January 2018.
But he has struggled to make an impact at the London Stadium, and spent last season on loan with Middlesbrough.
Another temporary spell, this time to Preston, has been mooted.
But the LEP reports that Hugill’s wages ‘rocketed’ upon joining the Hammers, to an extent that the Premier League side would have to heavily subside them in order such a move to work.

With the 27-year-old managing just seven goals in 42 games for Middlesbrough last season, however, taking a significant financial hit may be West Ham’s only way of getting rid of the player.
