Rangers have been looking at Peterborough United striker Jonson Clarke-Harris according to a new report from the Bristol Post.
It’s claimed that the Gers scouted Clarke-Harris on Saturday afternoon as Peterborough hammered Accrington Stanley 7-0.
If Rangers really were watching the game, then they will have surely been impressed as Clarke-Harris bagged a hat-trick in a thumping victory.
Clarke-Harris showed his predatory instincts by scoring all three goals from close range; added together, his goals probably added up to about 18 yards!
He was in the right place at the right time to get his goals, taking his tally for the season to 27 goals in 40 games, whilst also picking up three assists.
Sheffield United are thought to be keen too, with the 26-year-old finally starting to put his game together having previously shown quality, just failed to find consistency.

Rangers could be in the market for a striker this summer, with Jermain Defoe’s contract expiring and unlikely to be renewed at this stage.
Clarke-Harris is certainly among the goals right now, but Peterborough will be in a position to demand huge money – as they so often do for their strikers, as we have seen with the likes of Britt Assombalonga, Dwight Gayle, Jack Marriott and Ivan Toney in recent times.
