Rangers are reportedly close to signing striker Alfredo Morelos.

According to The Scottish Sun, Jonatan Johansson recommended HJK Helsinki’s Alfredo Morelos to manager Pedro Caixinha as the striker closes in on a move to Rangers.
Whilst Rangers have brought in four new signings – Bruno Alves, Fabio Cardoso, Ryan Jack and Dalcio – two more are on their way with Carlos Pena and Eduardo Herrera awaiting work permits.

The Gers still have plenty of work to do, and with Herrera more of a big, physical target man-type striker, Caixinha is now moving to sign a poacher-type striker to potential go alongside Herrera.
Ilta-Sanomat in Finland report that HJK Helsinki striker Alfredo Morelos is closing in on a move to Ibrox, after the two clubs agreed a fee for his move, though he will require a work permit to join the Gers.
Alfredo Morelos (R)
Morelos, 20, has taken Finnish football by storm, and has hit 21 goals in his last 25 games for the club (Transfermarkt), and the Colombian attacker is now seemingly set for a move to Glasgow.
The Scottish Sun now claim that Morelos came onto Rangers’ radar after a recommendation from Jonatan Johansson, who was appointed to Caixinha’s backroom staff in April.
Jonatan Johansson celebrates scoring for Rangers
Johansson will have seen plenty of Morelos in action back in Finland, and recommending a move for the former Independiente Medellin attacker appears to be his first huge influence at Ibrox.
Johansson hit 25 goals in 71 games for Rangers in his playing days, and he will be hoping that Morelos can match or even better that record, having backed the Colombian as a player that Caixinha should focus on signing.
