Everton are reportedly closing in on goalkeeper Jonas Lossl.

According to Foot Mercato, Huddersfield Town goalkeeper Jonas Lossl will join Everton on a two-year deal after undergoing a medical earlier today.
The Toffees already have Jordan Pickford, but seemingly want another goalkeeper despite having Maarten Stekelenburg under contract for another year and Joao Virginia coming through the ranks.
Stekelenburg may now move on, as Marco Silva and Marcel Brands appear to have identified another veteran shot-stopper to bring in to Goodison Park.
Foot Mercato report that Everton want Huddersfield ace Lossl, and are set to hand him a two-year deal having undergone a medical earlier today.
Huddersfield today confirmed that Lossl is leaving the club at the end of his contract, but looks set for an immediate return to the Premier League following Huddersfield’s relegation.

Lossl, 30, joined Huddersfield on loan from Mainz in 2017, and made his move permanent last summer, serving as a regular under David Wagner, but Jan Siewert preferred to use Ben Hamer towards the end of the campaign.
The Danish international will now seemingly head for Everton, boosting Silva’s squad whilst supporting Pickford, but raising major questions about Stekelenburg’s future at Goodison Park.
