The report states that the two clubs have exchanged documents over a deal and that Lescott will now be heading to Greece to finalise a move to the Greek Superleague.
AEK, managed by former Newcastle United attacker Temuri Ketsbaia, finished second in the Greek top-flight last season and are now looking to add recruits.

Lescott would join the likes of Hugo Almeida, Dmytro Chygrynskiy and former Spurs youngster Tomas Pekhart at the Olympic Stadium.
The Villa defender has been consistently linked with a move away from the club this summer, after a poor first season at Villa Park.

The defender struggled throughout the campaign as Villa finished bottom of the Premier League – suffering relegation to the Championship.
Villa, who had previously agreed for Lescott to leave on a free transfer to join Rangers, will be hoping that this deal does come to fruition.
