The former Aston Villa man is struggling to find a balance with his new club over his knee treatment.
He was Mr Unpopular at Aston Villa and it now looks as though defender Joleon Lescott is not faring much better at his new club in Greece – according to a report from the Birmingham Mail.
The centre-back left Villa on a free transfer in the summer after the club’s relegation from the Premier League. He performed poorly throughout his spell at Villa Park and he was a very unpopular figure among the Villa fans.
Aston Villa’s Joleon Lescott goes off injured
A move to Rangers failed to materialise and the former England international joined AEK Athens in August on a two-year deal.
But in October he suffered a knee injury and that has caused some major problems in the Greek capital.

The Birmingham Mail report that Lescott’s contract with the Greek side may be terminated as he has fallen out with the club over his injury treatment.
It is believed that Lescott wanted to come and recover from his knee injury back in the UK but AEK will not sanction such a long stay away from the club. With the two reportedly at loggerheads his future at the club looks bleak.
Aston Villa fans are likely to have little sympathy for a player that never won their appreciation during his ill-fated stint at the club.
