The Express & Star has claimed that the 36-year-old former England international defender is in no rush to make a decision on his future, and that it could be up to a fortnight before Villa know if he would make the switch to Villa Park.
Terry is one of the greatest centre-backs of all time and possibly the best ever in his position to have featured in the Premier League.
The former England international would bring invaluable experience and a winning mentality to Villa, who are one of the biggest clubs in England and have a loyal fanbase.
