Brighton and West Ham target John Ruddy is reportedly weighing up his options.
Ex-Norwich goalkeeper John Ruddy
According to the Daily Mail, goalkeeper John Ruddy is assessing his options and wants a Premier League move following his release from Norwich City.
The Canaries decided to have something of a clearout in May, and Ruddy, along with Michael Turner, Sebastien Bassong, Ryan Bennett, Steven Whittaker, Youssouf Mulumbu and Kyle Lafferty, were told they were being released.

Goalkeeper Ruddy, 30, joined Norwich from Everton back in the summer of 2010, and racked up nearly 250 appearances for the Canaries during a seven-year spell at Carrow Road.
As a free agent, Ruddy is bound to receive interest from a host of clubs, and the Daily Mail report that he is considering his options as he looks to engineer a return to the Premier League.

It’s claimed that Brighton and West Ham are both interested in landing Ruddy, whilst Championship clubs are also pursuing his signature – though they could miss out.
Brighton’s first-choice goalkeeper David Stockdale is out of contract this summer, and should be fail to sign a new deal, the newly-promoted Seagulls could look to land Ruddy as his replacement.

Meanwhile, West Ham flip-flopped between Adrian and Darren Randolph over the course of the season, meaning Slaven Bilic could pursue a new goalkeeper – but there will be questions over Ruddy’s suitability given his release from Norwich.
Ruddy has time to weigh up the offers being sent to him as a free agent, and with a Premier League move allegedly on his mind, Brighton and West Ham look to be strong contenders.
