Sunderland are keen to sign Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart on loan.
England’s Joe Hart
According to the Daily Mail, Sunderland boss David Moyes wants to bring Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart to the Stadium of Light – but the player isn’t so keen on a move to the club.
The Black Cats are frantically trying to bring players to the club before Wednesday’s transfer deadline, and whilst a host of areas need improving, Moyes will be particularly keen to bring in a new goalkeeper.

First choice stopper Vito Mannone is out for at least three months after suffering an elbow injury, and whilst they have one of the top young English talents in Jordan Pickford as Mannone’s backup, Moyes may want a more experienced option.
Now, the Daily Mail report that Moyes is keen to snap up Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart on loan, with the England international in limbo right now.
Hart, 29, is now City’s third-choice goalkeeper under new manager Pep Guardiola, with Willy Caballero and new signing Claudio Bravo ahead of him in the pecking order.

The former Shrewsbury youngster has been frozen out by Guardiola as his distrbution isn’t deemed to be good enough for the style of play Guardiola is pushing for this season, and an exit may be on the cards before the transfer deadline.
There are very few clubs who can push to sign Hart in the coming days, but Sunderland are keen to offer him a season-long loan deal with guaranteed first-team football as he looks to keep his place as England’s top goalkeeper.

However, it’s claimed that Hart has reservations about joining Sunderland because he thinks they will be in a relegation battle this season, though City would allegedly be willing to subsidise part of his £130,000-a-week wages.
The report adds that Moyes will pull out all the stops to sign Hart, with the Scot determined to land a new goalkeeper – but whether the player can be tempted into a move to Wearside remains to be seen.
