The Rangers target could become the seventh player to link up with Steven Gerrard at Ibrox this summer.

The Express understands the Rangers target, Joe Aribo, has told Lee Bowyer he wants a move to Ibrox.
The London Evening Standard reported earlier this week that Bowyer had not given up hope of keeping Aribo, whose Charlton Athletic contract is due to expire, out of Rangers clutches.
But the newspaper added that the midfielder was expected to inform his boss, during a meeting on Friday, that he intended to leave for Rangers, nonetheless.
It remains to be seen whether or nor The Express – which claims Bowyer was informed of Aribo’s decision during said meeting – has uncovered fresh information or is simply making a presumption based on previous information.

But the newspaper goes on to state that the Rangers manager, Steven Gerrard, is hopeful of adding Aribo to his squad in time for the Gers’ pre-season trip to Portugal, which begins this weekend.
According to The London Evening Standard, Rangers will pay Charlton just £250,000 in training compensation should the 22-year-old move to Ibrox.
And The Daily Mail (17 June, page 78) reported earlier this week that Aribo will earn around £20,000 per week in Glasgow.
