Joe Allen is reportedly “keen” on joining up with Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers once again.

According to Graeme Bailey of The Gambling Times, Joe Allen wants to reunite with Brendan Rodgers at Celtic.
The Mirror claimed last month that Celtic were interested in signing the Wales international, who was relegated from the Premier League with Stoke City this past season.
Allen has previously worked with the Hoops boss at Swansea City and Liverpool.
And, according to The Gambling Times, the 28-year-old is “keen to link up with Rodgers” for a third time.
However, the report adds that a whole host of top-flight clubs – including Newcastle, West Ham and Everton – are interested in bringing him back to the Premier League.

Allen has a £25 million release clause, but only if one of the Premier League’s top six clubs bid for him, though it remains to be seen if Celtic can compete financially with any of the other English clubs mentioned.
West Ham and Everton, for instance, could blow Rodgers out of the water if it came to a bidding war, but the idea that Allen – worth around £18.3 million, going by CIES Football Observatory – is keen on moving to Parkhead does give the Northern Irish manager something of an advantage.
