Sunderland are willing to sell Jeremain Lens, Jack Rodwell and Billy Jones this summer.

According to a report in the Chronicle, Sunderland are willing to sell Jeremain Lens, Jack Rodwell and Billy Jones this summer.
The Black Cats are looking to offload a number of players, as Sam Allardyce aims to make room for new additions.
Sunderland want to invest in their squad, as they aim to avoid relegation trouble next term.

Sunderland have been dragged into survival fights in each of the last few seasons, but Allardyce is determined to push his side into the top 10 during the 2016/17 campaign.
As a result, there are plenty of players who Allardyce deems to be expendable.

Not only have Sunderland released four members of their squad, they are also looking to sell the likes of Liam Bridcutt, Sebastian Larsson and Emanuele Giaccherini.
Sunderland realise that they are unlikely to get much money for any of the aforementioned trio, but Allardyce feels he could raise more funds through selling Lens, Rodwell or Jones.
Lens, Rodwell and Jones all struggled to nail down places in Sunderland’s first-team last season, meaning that the Wearsiders are now willing to sell them all if they receive an acceptable bid.
