Spanish newspaper Marca have claimed that West Ham United striker Javier Hernandez has agreed personal terms with La Liga outfit Valencia, but the Hammers are blocking a move.
Italian outlet CalcioMercato claimed back in December that Valencia were rivalling Real Sociedad for the 30-year-old’s signature, and it appears that Marcelino’s side have won the race for the 106-time Mexico international.
It is said that Valencia have finally agreed terms with the former Manchester United and Bayer Leverkusen striker, with the Spanish side convincing Hernandez to lower his whopping £140,000-a-week (Spotrac) salary.
Hernandez has not had the desired impact when he joined the Hammers from Leverkusen in the summer of 2017, scoring only 13 goals in 49 league and cup appearances for the east Londoners.

Despite his lack of form over the past 18 months, West Ham are desperate to keep their highest earner and are said to be unwilling to accept a deal that would see Hernandez move back to Spain – almost four years after he left Real Madrid.
Valencia wanted to land Hernandez on a loan-to-buy deal but they may have to re-think their strategy, with the report claiming that the only way West Ham could sell the striker is on a permanent basis this month.
