Lowe left Blackburn Rovers last summer and signed for Birmingham City shortly afterwards.

Jason Lowe hopes to quit Birmingham City and return to Blackburn Rovers – five months after joining the Blues, according to the Sun’s printed edition on Monday [page 55].
The report claims Lowe is in talks to cancel the one-year contract he signed last August, shortly after leaving Blackburn at the end of his contract.
Lowe was thrown straight into Harry Redknapp’s Birmingham team, but has failed to add to his three Blues appearances since the former Tottenham Hotspur manager was sacked in mid-September.

The 26-year-old began his career at local side Blackburn, and was captain at the time of their relegation last season.
Rovers appear to be on the up again, however, and currently sit second in League One – five points behind leaders Wigan Athletic.

Tony Mowbray has been busy strengthening his squad this month, with Amari’i Bell, Adam Armstrong and Jack Payne each arriving at Ewood Park.
Birmingham, meanwhile, are in danger of replacing Blackburn in the third tier, with Steve Cotterill’s team currently a point from safety in 23rd position.
