Galatasaray are interested in singing Sunderland loanee Jason Denayer.
According to a report in the Chronicle, Galatasaray are looking into the possibility of singing Sunderland defender Jason Denayer in January.
Denayer is currently on loan at Sunderland from Manchester City, and he was expected to spend the entire season at the Stadium of Light.
However, Denayer has failed to break into David Moyes’ starting line-up since moving to Wearside.
Galatasaray are now reportedly looking to take advantage of the situation, and do a deal with Denayer’s parent club, Manchester City, in January.
Sunderland would have to agree to terminating Denayer’s loan if Galatasaray are to successfully complete the transfer, but that is not out of the question.
Denayer has only made four appearances for Sunderland in the Premier League to date, and his departure would free up some wages for Moyes to spend on new recruits.
Denayer spent last term on loan at Galatasaray, and he impressed in Turkey with a series of commanding performances.
Gala are also said to be looking at Manchester United defender Marcos Rojo, if they fail to sign Denayer.
