The Belgian pair have become an integral part of the Spurs set-up.
A report in Belgium today has suggested that both of Tottenham Hotspur’s Belgian defenders Jan Vertonghen and Toby Alderweireld are currently in talks with the Premier League club over extending their deals at White Hart Lane.
Voetbal Belgie are reporting that both players have sat at the negotiating table over a potential new deal for each player.

They claim Vertonghen, who is under contract at Spurs until 2018, could be signing a deal that will keep him at the club until 2020.
Alderweireld is already contracted until then, but will be receiving a wage increase to highlight his good form at White Hart Lane.

Spurs fans have already had plenty of new contracts coming through in recent weeks. The likes of Dele Alli, Christian Eriksen and Eric Dier to name a few.
Both players have become pivotal to the form of Tottenham in recent months and their long-term future will be a high priority for manager Mauricio Pochettino and club chairman Daniel Levy.
