According to The Express, Hearts winger Jamie Walker wants to join Rangers this summer – and Pedro Caixinha’s men are set to return with a £650,000 bid.
The Gers have added five new faces by bringing Bruno Alves, Fabio Cardoso, Ryan Jack, Dalcio and Daniel Candeias to Ibrox, whilst Mexican duo Carlos Pena and Eduardo Herrera will also join when they are given work permits.

Colombian attacker Alfredo Morelos is set to arrive from HJK Helsinki, which would take Rangers’ summer influx to eight new faces – and manager Caixinha is still keen on more.
Whilst the club’s pursuit of Norwich City midfielder Graham Dorrans continues, The Express report that they have had a £500,000 bid for Hearts winger Jamie Walker rejected – and will now return with a new offer of £650,000.

Walker, 23, is understood to want a move to Ibrox this summer despite Hearts expecting interest from English clubs, with the winger keen to reunite with former Hearts team-mate Jason Holt in Glasgow.
The wide man has come up through the ranks with Hearts, becoming a key player at Tynecastle, but he has asked to leave Hearts this summer with just one year left on his contract.
Hearts’ Jamie Walker celebrates scoring against Rangers
After scoring 12 goals last season, Walker was always bound to attract interest, and Rangers are the first club to make considerable moves towards signing him this summer.
However, Hearts want a deal worth around £1million for Walker, meaning Rangers’ new bid of £650,000 is still some way short of the asking price, and more negotiating may be required to get the deal over the line.
