Manchester City could yet re-sign Jadon Sancho in the future.

According to new claims from Bleacher Report, Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho is open to returning to Manchester City one day despite leaving the club just last year.
City swooped to sign Sancho from Watford in 2015, and he became a young star at the Etihad Stadium, thriving for City’s development squad and with England’s youth sides.
However, Sancho felt that he wouldn’t get first-team opportunities at City, with young winger Leroy Sane and Raheem Sterling at the club, so chose to make a bold move in 2017.
The winger left City for German side Borussia Dortmund, believing that he could play more regularly in the Bundesliga – and he has been proven right, notching five goals and seven assists already this season.
Now an England international at the age of just 18, Sancho looks destined for greatness, and City have been left to wonder whether they should have given the teenager a clearer path to first-team football.
It may not be all over for City though; Bleacher Report note that City have first option to re-sign Sancho ahead of any other club, and the winger is actually open to a shock return to Manchester.

It’s believed that Sancho holds no grudge against City or manager Pep Guardiola over his lack of playing time and understands their situation, meaning that he could return to City down the line.
Any deal would cost exponentially more than the £8million City sold him for less than 18 months ago, but the reports give hope to City that they could end up with Sancho at the peak of his powers after all.
