According to a report in the Shields Gazette, discussions have already started at Sunderland over signings in the January transfer window.

Sunderland may have won six matches on the bounce, but Ross still wants to add quality to his squad.

The Black Cats are currently sat in the automatic promotion spaces, but the Wearsiders are refusing to rest on their laurels.

Indeed, Ross has been locked in discussions with Sunderland transfer chief Tony Coton recently, with plans being put in place.

Ross is said to want to add another two players to his squad, to bolster his options even further.
