According to FC Inter News, the representatives of winger Ivan Perisic have been in contact with Tottenham Hotspur about a move this summer.
It’s claimed that Bayern Munich have failed to activate a permanent deal for Perisic before their deadline, meaning he is likely to be available this summer.
Bayern still want Perisic, but not at the €20million (£18million) agreed. Inter are willing to drop the price tag to €15million (£13.5million), whereas Bayern want to pay just €10million (£9million).
Inter aren’t keen on that idea, and his entourage are now talking to two Premier League clubs. One of them is unknown, but the other is Tottenham.
The report notes that Jose Mourinho wanted Perisic at Manchester United, so would be interested again. However, a deal allegedly depends on Spurs qualifying for Europe next season.
Without European football, Spurs seemingly won’t be able to afford a deal for Perisic. Tottenham, like many clubs, are having to scale back spending due to the global pandemic.

Perisic, 31, has spent the season on loan at Bayern from Inter. He managed to hit six goals and eight assists in 29 games, but will now head back to Inter as things stand.
Spurs don’t particularly need another winger right now, but Mourinho may feel that a £13.5million deal is too good to turn down for the Croatian star.
