The Liverpool midfielder has just 12 months remaining on his current deal.

Reports emanating from Italy suggest that Juventus are preparing to make one final push in an effort to sign Reds midfielder Emre Can, according to Italian media outlet Tuttosport.

The 23-year-old Liverpool star has just one year left to run on his current deal at Anfield, and the Italian champions are trying to persuade the Merseyside outfit into selling, whilst they struggle to tie the German down to a new contract.

And Tuttosport claim that the Old Lady are preparing one final bid for Can, in the hope that he will push for an exit from Anfield, although the media outlet state that the Reds have no intention of selling one of their key players.

Tuttosport have already reported that the Serie A side were lining up a £31 million offer for the former Bayer Leverkusen star earlier on this summer, but they do not make it clear how much they are prepared to bid this time around.

Liverpool fans are split on Can, and it will be interesting to see their opinion if the club to go on to keep the Germany international, rather than accept what is fairly decent money from Juve, and risk losing him for nothing next year.
