Toby Alderweireld joined Tottenham Hotspur in the summer of 2015.

Alderweireld joined Tottenham from Atletico Madrid in the summer of 2015 for a transfer fee reported by The Daily Mail to be worth £11.5 million.
It has been reported by The Times that the Belgium international defender earns £70,000 per week as salary, and that he has been “in dispute” over his wages at the North London outfit since his second season.
The report has also claimed that the 30-year-old believes that “he will be paid handsomely by a big team in Europe as a free agent”.
According to Transfermarkt.co.uk, Alderweireld is out of contract at Tottenham in the summer of 2020.

Tottenham Hotspur stay
It looks very likely that Alderweireld will stay at Tottenham Hotspur this season, and there is time for the North London outfit to agree on a new deal with the former Ajax star.
The Belgian is one of the best central defenders in the Premier League, and it would make sense for Spurs to hand him a new contract and keep him at the club for another two or three years.
