Diop has been heavily linked with a move to West Ham of late.
Diop, 21, has been heavily linked with a move to the London Stadium of late after captaining Ligue 1 side Toulouse during 2017-18 in which he made 34 Ligue 1 appearances and scored three goals.
A France Under-21 international, West Ham have now reportedly completed a deal to sign Diop though the Hammers are yet to confirm a deal. The report says West Ham have shelled out £22million on the defender.
The report also claims that West Ham are set to pay the youngster a huge £67,500 a week despite his tender age, while the 6ft 4in rock will also be given a £2.2million signing on fee.
The Hammers needed a centre-back this summer following the loss of veteran James Collins, while Jose Fonte also joined Chinese Super League side Dalian Yifang midway through the campaign.
Diop, who will sign a five-year contract, will rival the likes of Declan Rice, Angelo Ogbonna and Winston Reid for a place in the Hammer starting eleven under new manager Manuel Pellegrini.
