Isco is open to leaving La Liga giants Real Madrid in January with a move to the Premier League a possibility – Unai Emery and Pep Guardiola are big admirers.

Real Madrid misfit Isco is open to leaving the La Liga giants on loan in January with Manchester City and Arsenal potential destinations for a gifted playmaker, according to AS.

The 27-year-old has gone from the toast of the Bernabau to Los Blancos’ forgotten man in almost the blinking of an eye.

Isco’s made just two starts so far this season for Zinedine Zidane’s side with the former Malaga man, who played the most dazzling football of his career during the Frenchman’s first spell in charge at Real, rapidly slipping down the pecking order.

As a result, Isco has lost his place in the Spanish starting XI and, with Euro 2020 on the horizon, national team coach Robert Moreno has warned the fleet-footed midfielder that he needs to be playing regular first-team football or risk missing out on a place in the squad.

Fortunately, there will not be a shortage of options for a man who, just two years ago, was arguably the most influential number ten anywhere in world football.

AS claims that Unai Emery and Pep Guardiola are big fans of Isco with Real Madrid more than aware that Arsenal or Manchester City would probably jump at the chance to snap him up, albeit on a short-term deal.

Isco is apparently open to a loan move away from the Spanish capital and, with Arsenal’s lack of cutting edge once again exposed during a 1-0 defeat to Sheffield United on Monday night, it’s hard to think of a better January signing The Gunners could make.
