Norwich City have been linked with Ipswich Town’s Andre Dozzell.

According to TWTD, Ipswich Town have opened talks with Andre Dozzell over a new contract as they look to fend off interest from the Premier League including rivals Norwich City.
The report names Brighton and Hove Albion, Crystal Palace and Norwich as suitors for the youngster, but Ipswich boss Paul Lambert is keen to tie him down to a new deal.
Dozzell came through the youth ranks at Portman Road and made his first-team debut at 16.
He has since struggled a little with injury layoffs, missing the 2017/18 campaign with an ACL injury, but he has bounced back to show he still possesses huge potential going forward.
Dozzell’s current deal expires next summer although Ipswich have a one-year extension clause. Regardless, the Tractor Boys want to tie him down to a longer deal with reported significantly improved terms.
Ipswich’s route back to the Championship following their relegation to League One may lie with their young talent.
The likes of Andre Dozzell, Jack Lankester, Teddy Bishop, Josh Emmanuel and Flynn Downes could all play a big part this season and regular first-team football will no doubt aid their development.

Norwich have shown in the Championship winning campaign last season the benefits of pushing through academy stars. Max Aarons, Ben Godfrey and Jamal Lewis are now established first-teamers.
Recruitment also played a big part in the Canaries’ return to the Premier League. Manager Daniel Farke and director of football Stuart Webber helped secure a number of bargain buys last summer.
Norwich may see Dozzell having similar potential, and Ipswich could face a fight this summer to keep hold of him.
